Overspeed training is simply the most effective method for gaining speed in the golf swing. If you always train at or below your normal swing speed, your muscles won’t know how to go faster. What is the OVERSPEED CLUB?


The OVERSPEED CLUB is similar to a standard driver but it is unique in that the clubhead's weight is manufactured to weigh much less than a standard driver head. The OVERSPEED CLUB has a head weight of 145 grams compared to 200 grams for a standard driver head. This training aid is also available in an adjustable weight version which will allow additional head weighting at 160 grams and 170 grams. By reducing the head weight you will be able to practice unleashing and contracting the golf-specific muscles faster than you can with your normal driver. This training aid will teach you how speed works.

In training I stress that the most important swing thought to have with the OVERSPEED CLUB is that I want you to feel like you are swinging twice as fast for the first few inches of the downswing than you do with your normal driver. No other golf training aid on the market is going to allow you to practice transitioning from the top of the backswing to the start of the downswing FASTER!
